Masculine Mystique

The term “masculine mystique” is essentially a paradox of feminist movements within post-war America that deeply over analyzes the traditional ideas of masculinity and societal-bread gender constructs. In general, these concepts have become an ever evolving spectrum that challenge the hegemonic masculinity tropes that we are so accustomed to. This series attempts to reverse the narrative and use common archetypes of masculinity against themselves in a fragmented portrayal of their emotional consequences.
